Chapter Five

*Chugs down a second cup of Coffee before writing.* That's a lot better! I seem to be drinking a lot more Coffee these days, you can't get enough Caffeine. Anyway, after writing these chapters and it has took me till chapter five to realise this. I've been writing Conner's name wrong. How could I have been so stupid? It's actually 'Connor' not 'Conner' So I'll promise to start spelling it right ok?

When we last left Cara and Connor, they had both visited the Gym again. Cara ran into her boss there and got to know her a little better, Connor knew that Cara wasn't going to leave anytime soon so he left her to it.

In other news, Cara and Connor's relationship went to the next level and they are now Boyfriend and Girlfriend!

Cara: "Connor's my boyfriend! I'm so excited!"

Good for you Cara! I thought it was going to take a while.

A few hours later, Cara asked Conner to marry her, he said yes of course. Have you noticed the change in the shed? Slowly, Cara and Conner are starting to bring a little more money into the household so the shed inside got a new paint job, I even updated the bed a little by putting some new sheets on and painting the base.

Connor: "It makes me feel as though I'm sleeping in a garden and I noticed that you got my name wrong, your not exactly a Genius are you?"

Sorry Connor, maybe your intentions towards me are clouding my judgement.

Conner: "..."

That shut him up.

Cara: "In normal situations, a creator let's their Sims have some privacy in these moments."

Sorry I'll just be over there. *points*

I don't know what's worse, Cara sipping her juice while sitting on a toilet which is broken, or Cara using the toilet to sip her juice, you decide.

Cara: "Well if someone hadn't sold the chess table complete with chairs without asking, I'd be sitting there right now."

Sorry but you needed money for a shower as you can see next to you, I'm sick of seeing the gym in every update.

Cara: "You have a point, it would be nice to actually have a bathroom that's indoors."

Well, get promoted and that is what you shall have.

Come on guys! Again?

Cara: "Conner and I are bored waiting for our carpools, and it's still early."

Because I need my eyes to see, I turned away before smiling at the familiar music us Simmers know well. Generation Two is now in the making!

Conner runs to the carpool sporting his new Uniform, looking smart!

Conner: "I'm doing something to get some more money for my family, I don't see you doing anything about it."

Ever wonder why your getting promoted Connor? I'm doing more then you know.

Nice scrubs Cara! they look like the ones I wear to work, but mine is blue.

Cara: " I'm a bedpan cleaner now, I thought I would never get a promotion! Thanks for helping creator?"

Your welcome, at least someone thanks me!

Cara: "Is Connor giving you grief again?"

Yes, nothing changes. Have fun at work and don't forget to take it easy.

Cara: "Why would I need to take it easy?"

You'll find out soon enough.

Since Connor is starting to climb his Career ladder, he needs to interview some people in order to help his preformance tab. What better way to invite the boss over? Connor has rolled more wants to invite his boss over, despite him being a Loner.

While I left the sims to their own devices, I decided to look in Connor's inventory to see which books he had gotten from the book club. I found an expensive laptop in there which I sold, to get more money for the household. They now have over four thousand in the kitty, enough to expand the shed a little more.

Conner: "You sold my Laptop? How could you? Now I have to carry on going to the Library to refine my writing skill!"

The library is good for you Conner, you use the office which noone ever uses so you enjoy the solitude. Plus, you need the money now more than ever.

Conner: "Why? What have you done?"

I have done nothing. Like I told Cara, you'll find out in due course.

The chapter ends with Connor interviewing his boss after letting know about the upcoming wedding. The next chapter may be switching to Livejournal, blogger is now starting to go a little slow uploading pictures but I will let you know when I'm ready to upload.

In the next chapter, there will be wedding pictures and hopefully Generation Two is born.

Chapter Four

Welcome back! Sorry if this chapter is a little rushed, I have to do household chores and grab some sleep. When we last left off, we left Cara and Conner visiting the gym for the second time. Conner has a thing that creators hurt their Sims and isn't on good terms with me at the moment.

Cara and Conner use the showers, they are both smelly when they come home from work and since they don't have the money, they'll be using these for a long time. I wish they could steal them.

Cara: "Stealing is wrong."

Thanks Cara, I'm aware stealing is wrong. I was joking *Shifty Eyes.*

Cara, your boss is over there. Why not sit with her and chat?

Cara: "I see her at work and besides, she seems to like being alone."

It won't do any harm, you might get a promotion out of it, and a new friend!

Cara: "I'll chat to her after I've eaten ok?"

Good girl.

In the toilets, I spy some mirrors and a dresser. So Conner gets a makeover.

Conner: "..."

I take the silence as you like your makeover.

Conner: "Go away."

Ok sourpuss.

Conner: *Glares at creator*

Conner heads over to the sink, sporting his new 'Hugh Hefner' look and Cara chats to her boss.

Cara: "It couldn't hurt and besides, she has a lot of charisma."

Well she is Charismatic, if my boss wasn't such a tyrant, I'd get along with better.

Conner decides on freewill, to go home to bed while Cara carries on chatting to her boss. I don't know who the blond guy eating is, but I love his top. I must go to the local shopping centre in town to get myself one!

The game now decides to tell them Conner likes to be alone, if only he would actually make truce with me. I don't think has a grumpy trait.

Conner: "..."

*sighs* Goodnight Conner, Cara is on her way home now.

Morning Cara, ready for your second day of work?

Cara: " I guess, thanks for the fridge by the way."

Your welcome, but it's you and Conner that's to thank. You both did get paid after all.

Cara: "These seats are very uncomfortable.

Sorry Cara but building an actual house counts first ok? I'm willing to bet that you don't want to raise children in that shed?

Cara: "You have a point."

We leave this chapter with Conner's traits before I forget. I'll write them down just in case you can't see.

Chapter Three

Welcome back! I feel that I should now announce that I'm sorry for the lack spelling correction, I'm lazy so see so that's my excuse. When we last left our founders, Cara and Conner had to attend the gym in order to relieve their needs. Let's go back to the gym now and see what they are upto.

Hi Conner, still eating your bread and jam I see.

Conner: "Well after all, you did leave us here. I'm surprised you didn't get sick of us."

Well I had to rush to my job just to find out that they didn't need me, and I told you before, I'm not going to delete you.

Conner: "You say that now, just wait."

Conner: "Still following me I see? Why don't you go bother Cara?"

I hated to end the last chapter on a sour note, what can I do to prove to you that I won't give up on you guys?

Conner: "That's your problem isn't it?"

Changing the subject, don't you just love the view from the window? That's the main reason I bought this game. The graphics are outstanding!

Conner: "Erm, your still here."

I was talking to the readers Conner, not you. Why did I pick such a testy spouse?

Conner:" Testy? I'll show you who's testy!"

Let's go see where Cara is shall we? I think Conner needs to calm down.

Hi Cara there you are! I have to talk to you about Conner.

Cara: "Can't talk now, I need to go home to sleep. I don't want to pass out."

Ok but about Conner ...

Cara: "Yes Conner, tell him I'm going to bed ok?"

Ok then.

Not long after Cara left, Conner left too.

Conner: "..."

Not talking to me? Fine Conner be that way but listen to me, we are going to see each other quite a lot from now on so get used to it.

It was straight to bed for the both of them when they got back to the home, they made small talk before bed.

Cara: "Conner, why don't you like the creator?"

Conner: "..."

Cara:" Sorry creator, can you please leave us alone for a few minutes?

Sure I will, talk some sense into him ok?

Conner: "Sense? I don't need it thankyou."

I'll leave you two alone.

The next morning, Conner continued to ignore me. I did step out of the house the night before to allow them to chat, I just wished Cara would tell me what they talked about.

Hi Cara, Conner gone to work?

Cara: "Yes, he went to work starving, we really need to buy a fridge."

I'll buy you one as soon as there's enough money in the kitty ok? So what went on last night? The Chat?

Cara:"Conner doesn't want to tell you, he says your too nosy for your own good."

I agree there, I can be nosy. Can't you give me a hint?

Cara: "All I can say is this, Conner has heard about this 'Legacy' project you and fellow creators are doing. He thinks it's wrong."

How is it wrong? All us creators want to do is achieve challenges with our Sims, to us The Sims 3 is a game for enjoying, not hurting our Sims.

Cara: "Conner told me that some creators kill their Sims."

I'm not going to lie to you Cara but yes they do, I'm not one of them. I tell this from the bottom of my heart I promise.

Cara: "It's not me you need to convince."

I know, this is going to harder then I thought.

While I think of some way to Convince him that I'm a crazy killer creator, Cara's carpool arrives to take her to work.

Good luck Cara! Bring back money!

Cara: "I'm aware we need money, I'm not going to starve for the rest of my life!"

That's good, I'll hang around here doing nothing.

Cara:" You do that."

When they get home from work, I buy them a chess table so that Cara can grab some for her Career. Conner still hasn't said a word to me, and I still haven't a clue on how I could convince him.

We end this chapter watching Cara and Conner go to their second home to feed themselves.

Conner: "Leaving already? Good."

Oh well at least he said something to me, see you soon and thanks for reading!

Chapter Two

Welcome back! The last time we left our founder, Cara had succeeded to grab herself a job in the Hospital and a spouse all in one day! All these months of playing this game, this has never happened to me before. Anyway, let's see what they are getting upto!

So after Conner agrees to move in, Cara bites the bullet and takes Conner to his new 'Home.'

Cara: "Creator, I feel guilty."

What reasons have you to feel guilty about? This is your home.

Cara: "I know that but I have no furniture what so ever, what if Conner hates me?"

He won't hate you! He's been used in several Legacies so he should know what he's getting into. You both have jobs, you just need to be paitent and save some money. You'll get your Legacy house soon enough.

Cara: "Ok."

I think Conner looked a little shocked in this picture, I can just picture his 'what am I getting myself into' thoughts now.

Cara: "Any minute now he's going to run, I can feel it."

Stop worrying! I won't let him run.

While Cara and Conner are getting to terms with starting a Legacy together, I took a picture of the first Legacy home. At the moment it resembles the shed I have at the far end of my garden, the 'shed' itself only has a double bed inside. Looks like these two have a lot of work to do to get a nice roof over their heads!

Since Cara and Conner are still 'good friends,' I got them to work on their relationship. Since Conner hates to flirt, it's kind of a one person thing. Makes me wonder about my relationship skills, not good.

Soon the call of nature or should I say the Sims need bars calls out for attention, I send Cara and Conner to the gym which will be their temporary home to eat shower and toilet calls.

The twenty four hour gym is the only gym that can be found in Sunset Valley. Thank god for our founder and spouse that it's free! Be prepared to see quite a few Gym pictures, it'll be a while yet before they stop attending!

Upon entering the Gym, Cara runs over to the fridge to fill her stomach on free food.

Cara: "It is free right? I wouldn't want to steal."

Yes it's free, go ahead and eat!

Conner on the other hand, makes use of the gym's facilities.

Conner: "Hey who's that? Can't you see I need some privacy?"

Oops! I forgot to introduce myself. *Clears throat.* Conner hi nice to meet you, I'm your creator. It's my job to look after you and Cara to forfill your dreams etc.

Conner: "Well Mr Creator, mind if we chat when I'm not busy?"

Sure, sorry.

Hi Cara, how's the free juice?

Cara: "Free thank god, I heard you talking to Conner, how did he take it?"

He was freaked out a little which is understandable, I feel embarrased that I interrupted him in the toilet.

Cara: " Make sure to chat to him while there's no body around, he doesn't have this mind connects as you and I do."

I'll try, I'll whisper.

Bread and Jam? Nice choice!

Conner: "Your thankful that there's noone else apart from myself and Cara here."

Conner calm down, I'm sorry for embarrasing you in the toilets. the last thing I want to do is make you uncomfortable. I just wanted to introduce myself, break the ice.

Conner: " I know what you Legacy Creator's are like, you document our life, make fun of things and delete us."

The last thing I'm going to do is delete you, I've become attached to Cara and want to make friends with you, give me a chance.

Conner: "I'll do it for Cara's sake not yours."

Fair enough, enjoy your meal.

Chapter One Part Two

Welcome back to the second part of Chapter One.

In the last chapter, Cara Character my founder. Landed a job in the local Hospital in Sunset Valley but that's not all ...

While visiting the park, Cara runs into Conner Frio, the guy I know who hates to flirt and is a Loner. I'm taking my pictures using a print screen program so I'm sorry in advance if you cannot see the bubble.

Cara has just found out that Conner is single. Go Cara!

Cara: "I work at the local Hospital, do you have a Job?"

Conner: "Yes, I work in Journalism, I'm hoping to become a best selling author one day."

I think it's due to Cara's Friendly trait but these two are certainly getting alone well.

Cara: *Whispers* "Thanks Creator but can you give me a second alone? I'm trying to get to know Conner without flirting, I don't want him to think I'm desperate for a husband or anything.

Sure thing but aren't you desperate? This Legacy can#t go on without any Sim not finding a mate.

Cara: *Whispers* "What is this? Discovery Channel? Let me talk to Conner!"

Conner: "Cara? What's up?"

Cara: "Nothing" *Glares at Creator

In this picture, Cara finds out that Conner hates to flirt, he must be shy. They are certainly getting alone well, they should be getting towards the friend stage and since flirting is out of the question, Cara will just have to talk Conner's ear off until they do.

There you have it folks! best friend status! Well done Cara! Your first friend! I always said that to have a good relationship, you have to know each other first.

Cara: "Creator, I think everyone knows that."

Sorry I'm just trying to help, I don't want my favourite Sim to be lonely throughout her life.

Cara: "For the good of the Legacy right?"

Yes.

Cara:"Figures."

Well done Cara I'm so proud! Afte reaching friends status rather quickly in fact, Cara asks Conner to move in and after he say yes, we get this little box pop up. As you can see, Conner lived with his brother. At first I was going to move the both of them in but since this is a Legacy, it would count as cheating.

Join us next time as Cara slowly woos Conner and a start of a Legacy home is built.

Chapter One Part One

The First Chapter starts off seeing Cara boarding a taxi ....

Cara ... Where are you going?

Cara: "To the Hospital of course! My LTW is to be a Surgeon and I can't do that staying on my lawn can I?"

Of course not but shouldn't you go to Medical School for that? Wait ... in the Sims you can do anything, I tend to forget. Ok Cara tell the taxi driver not to go too fast, I need to follow you.

Cara: "Why's that? Come to think of it, who are you? Are you my consience or something?"

Well I'm nothing like that, I'am your creator. I created you and put you in this pixel world in June, I'm here to document your Legacy and keep an eye on you. If that's ok.

Cara: "You sound like a guy, are you a guy?"

Yes.

Cara: "Ok, seems like most people who document Legacies these days are girls."

there's nothing wrong with that as there is nothing wrong with girls doing Legacies. Some of the popular Sims storytellers are girls. Get to the Hospital and get a job, we don't need to fill this post with text.

Cara: *Insert eyeroll here* "Yes Sir"

The Hospital looks nice and tidy, just like the Hospital at home. Don't worry about the other Sims Cara, just walk forward.

Cara: "You work in a Hospital? Where? Will you be working with me?"

I live in the UK surrounded by countryside and yes I work in a Hospital, I have been for many years now. I also work in a Funeral Home part time.

Cara: "Sick."

not really, it's ok once you get used to the things that you are needed to do. Someone needs to look after the dead and take care of the loved ones.

Cara: "That's true, Guess you can get busy a lot of the time."

Mostly yes but this blog isn't about me it's about you. So good luck! Just show the Hospital how friendly you are and they'll hire you for sure!

Cara: "Creator, I can't do this! Maybe I will be better applying to be a Chef."

Calm down girl. Calm down. I'm here for you remember? besides, don't you want to tell your Grandchildren that you completed your LTW? You'll feel forfilled and live a longer life.

Cara: "Really? Do you think they'll hire me?"

Course they will silly! Now go on in before you miss your interview, I'll be right outside waiting.

Cara: "Ok, wish me luck."

Well, Cara held her chin up high and got the job! She seemed a little nervous afterwards so I suggested checking out the park for relaxation and a spouse hunt. Conner Frio turned up out of the blue with his brother (something) Frio. Looks like we have a spouse!

Cara: "Well, he is kind of cute."

That's the spirit!

As any Sim would, Cara gives Conner a 'Good' introduction and soon they are chatting up a storm. Plus, they suit each other. Conner and Cara a match made in heaven.

This where this chapter ends. For the following chapters, I have decided to use my print screen program. It seems to do a better job than the game camera, I can also take pictures of the small info boxes you get in the game.
